Photographing Blue Angels

Blue Angels
Blue Angels

This 2025 year in the month of April San Diego will be able to see the Blue Angels fly there are some things Maria Kamon Photography would recommend..

Personally: Depending on weather conditions wear something you can perspire and drys off quickly. Wear shoes that will protect your feet and your comfortable in. I belief the tarmac gets hot when its a sunnny day and I’ve heard others photographers have experienced their shoes melting. Folding rain coat or park a might be need check weather report. Don’t carry more than you think you’ll need. Have water and money (cash for souvenirs)

Camera Gear:

  1. Camara

  2. Lens: 80-200

  3. Wide Angle with f 2.8. Between those two should have enough variety.

  4. Tripod

  5. Backpack

  6. extra storage card and battery or battery charger.

It is my understanding that this event brings thousands of people to watch depending on how big the military wants it to be on any given year. Since no one really knows how much they be able to move and walk around better to carry a light backpack of camera equipment then be responsible for a heavy backpack you’ll have to weigh you down walking through the crowds.

  7. Make sure you have drinking water and a snack. Although, I’ve heard they have things to purchase you might not want to stand in line and miss a photograph shot.

From what other photographers have told me if it’s not hot due to the weather it’s hot due to the crowds. What ever you choose to do i know your photographs will turn out amazingly beautiful. How can they not? It’s Blue Angels your photographing.
